The metallurgies used in Boiler Pressure parts have serious limitations against a particular adverse condition found in every boiler; that is HEAT. Carbon steel and Low alloy steel like T11, T22 and T91, which constitute almost 99.9% of the boiler pressure parts metallurgy, have very little margin in their strength to withstand high temperature. Even a little deviation from the normal operating condition therefore, may lead to either Short Term or Long Term Overheating failure of these tubes.
In this Webinar, we will discuss about the critical factors that are primarily contributing to these types of damage mechanisms.

Known as stack temperature; it is measured at APH outlet, or Economizer outlet in case there is no Air Pre-Heater. This temperature affects at least five types of losses in a coal fired boiler.
